The main points of the artices 1) Ethnic identity is twin skin to linguistic identity, people's language, so they might speak their language that makes pride in themselves when they speak both of languages. 2) the students' have a right to varieties of languages and own patterns, not a rigid,or strict one language such as English as the educated speaker. 3) In university, people have to learn the actually new language like the peculiar ways of style, formet, knowing lanuages.
Literacy
1) Literacy refers to the ability to read for knowledge and write coherently and think critically about the written word. Visual literacy includes in addition the ability to understand all forms of communication, be it body language, pictures, maps, or video. Evolving definitions of literacy often include all the symbol systems relevant to a particular community.
2) The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) defines literacy as the "ability to identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate and compute, using printed and written materials associated with varying contexts
3)According to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary online ([Only admins are allowed to see this link] literacy is "the quality or state of being literate."
4)Middle English and Latin terms meaning "marked with letters" and "letters, literature."

"The Workforce Investment Act of 1998 defines literacy as 'an individual's ability to read, write, speak in English, compute and solve problems at levels of proficiency necessary to function on the job, in the family of the individual and in society.'

Within various levels of developmental ability, a literate person can derive and convey meaning, and use their knowledge to achieve a desired purpose or goal that requires the use of language skills, be they spoken or written.
