I like the first idea. Lots of interesting reasons to go with on this and you could totally write your essay from.

I agree with Adam, the first question seems pretty interesting, and there's a lot of ways you could present it! This is what you decided to present right?

I think you could do a prezi for this presentation and use lots of graphs, maps and other visual aids that you can use to show what the growth and decline of cities have been over recent time

One of the keys to this prezi if that's what medium you decide to use, is adding graphs and pictures. I think that would help support your ideas and thoughts of cities and what has changed in them. It will also be easier to understand with more visual aids as opposed to you just simply telling.

Just an idea but you could maybe have your prezi be a outline of the skyline of New York with all of your points being within those buildings. Could be a really cool way to divide your points up in a visually appealing way.

What Adam said is a great idea, but also if there is anything pertaining to the buildings or infrastructure of the city, you could put that information in the actual building in the skyline. For example if you are discussing the Rockefeller Center, you could put that information in the Rockefeller building.

That's a really good point Daniel, Prezi's are all about making your information visually appealing to your viewers and this could be a really easy cool way to do that for your presentation.

Ian, Adam beings up a great point. The idea of the digital presentation is to appeal to your viewers and get their attention and keep them involved. The more visual appealing things you do, the more interested they are and the more they get out of the presentation.

Thanks for the great insight guys! I dont know if i will be using the new york city skyline because surprisingly it has been far less affected by urban and deindustrialization. I thought about specifically targeting Saint Louis when it comes to this. By that I want to use a map of Saint Louis to show cause and effect, as well as some good videos and pictures.

IAN There's a city themed Prezi you could use! So perfect.

Ian another little connection you could refer to is how the St. Louis arch was the gateway to the West, and now it seems to be an exit as well. It would be really cool since such a large portion of Mizzou students are from St. Louis, bring it home. Make the presentation very relatable and it will help readers see your side of the conclusion.

I agree with everyone else that i think you should go with the first question, because the other ones were a little broad and the first one is a nice detailed one that you can work off of.

I think the first topic is by far your best choice so I think you made a good choice with your topic. Also visually like we discussed in other posts, this topic will give you a wide variety of visual options to choose from.
