"...specific area" what does that mean in numbers?
"most practitioners..." What specific area does it refer to?
"... can concentrate on one specific area or it can be holistic." where is the specific are and how holistic can it be?

It is somehow misleading because it invites people have their own image of this thing. And for most of us, we will definitely think the healing is reliable without any scientific evidence. In this way, the author did pretty good to explain what Reiki healing therapy is and how it works.
