Prezi Presentation

The reading was about literacy to teens today. The prezi presentation was written by a student at Mizzou. She used to live in New York until her parents moved to Hawaii. Hawaiians speak a combined language created from many different cultures. Hawaii is in between the U.S., China, Japan, Indonesia, and more small countries that are in the Pacific Ocean. The language is a mix of English, Japanese, Hawaiian, Samoan, Chinese, and Tagalog (Filipino). Pidgin language is a simplified language that develops as a means of communication between two or more groups that do not have a language in common. In this situation, pidgin language is used to communicate with all of the different people from different cultures who live in Hawaii.

A prezi presentation is a creative way to present a topic using colorful designs, youtube videos, and creative presenting ways. I used to use prezi presentations in high school. I think prezi is very useful for young audiences to hold their attention, and it is great to use when having youtube videos to prove your point.
