Literacy is imperious, it is normative and orthodox for human expression and thought. Functionally literate person can always speak and write literarily, they regard learning to write as they learn to tie their shoes or drive car, such like an important portion of their lives. In other word, as long as a person can speak or write literarily, generally speaking, he will have the mercy on literacy and can master and control of second use of language. Literacy is a fundamental human right and the foundation for lifelong learning. It is fully essential to social and human development in its ability to transform lives. For individuals, families, and societies alike, it is an instrument of empowerment to improve one’s health, one’s income, and one’s relationship with the world. Literacy is an important part of culture and culture elements consist if literature and other levels, like religion, morality. Literacy displays its uniqueness and significance in our lives, without literacy we can not appreciate different culture as well as inherit our ancestors’ truth, and culture will be back on square one, whether it started before the ancestors got the truths from their ancestors, which is the same idea with Ong’s oral world view. When we achieve that, through the process we have learned the control of second language, which means the specialist language as well, because culture or groups are full of specific connotation, only we get the second language of it can we understand the culture, eventually inherit the culture which is related to the literacy. According to literacy, we can intuit the real world aesthetically and understand the reflection of life. Literacy can expand the world of experience and the world of mind.
