The Appeals of Aristotle Empty The Appeals of Aristotle

I am not sure that I fully understand the differences between rhetorical analysis and rhetorical situation. But if I were to explain them to a friend, I would explain it like this. Rhetorical situation is a more serious, formal type of writing. Whether it be an essay for a class or a presidential speech or a report for work, it has a structure and formality to it. On the other hand rhetorical analysis is much more informal. With rhetorical analysis you find the best way to communicate with your audience. Instead of a paper you may use a power point or a video or picture.
While writing on the internet I think I mainly use pathos to communicate my ideas. I tend to be talking to friends so I do not feel the need to use evidence from credible sources. Instead I try to appeal to their emotions to get them to see my point of view.
