Be careful with your sources, you might not be using very reliable sources.

This is an interesting question and something lots of people feel strongly about. I agree with Ali though make sure your sources are reliable. This is a topic I could really see anyone writing a blog about and could be unreliable.

I know there's a lot of psychology studies that talk about your topic! Maybe you could filter it on the Mizzou Libraries thing.

I agree with Adam & Alli. Because it is such a popular topic, it would be easy to stumble across information that hasn't been fact-checked. It can't hurt to double-check your sources. Smile

Topic Question Empty Final Project

One thing I would be careful of this as a correlation. Psychologist have looked at this but often must turn back and ask, do children become violent because they play violent video games, or do children play violent games because they are violent.

I know a kid who is studying computer science and with that they take a class about video games and marketing online things such as this. He was saying they talked about this debate for awhile in the class. It could be interesting to look and see if the professor has any published research on the topic.

Topic Question Empty Final Project

Adam brings up a very good idea. If you can find anything that professors at Mizzou have published, I'm sure you could sent that professor an email and ask him questions and you could use those as primary sources in your presentation.

Even though Austin isn't even looking at this... Shocked You could still use the Bandura study of the Bo-Bo dolls to show how violence is learned to avoid any misconceptions!

Thats another great point Ali. Look into psychology studies because there a lot out there on behavior and violence, just be careful to stay away from correlational studies!!
